Easy Healthy Recipe #2: Homemade Vegetarian Fruit Snack

Animal derived gelatin is always a concern to vegan. But it does not means that a vegan can’t have his/her healthy homemade fruit snacks. Agar powder, which is a natural thickener made from seaweed, can often been used in place of gelatin.

Agar powder has a more powerful gelling agent compared to gelatin, so do not expect the same amount of agar powder to replace gelatin in the recipe. The amount of agar powder to be used is slightly less than gelatin powder.
